Notes Window

After saving your recording as a Voice Note, you can access them from the Notes Window, accessible through the Windows menu or the keyboard shortcut ⌘3.

  1. Playback Controls

    Press the next button to skip to the next recording, or hold the button down to fast-forward. Pressing the spacebar on the keyboard plays or pauses the recording.

  2. Progress Bar

    You can adjust the playback rate of the recording without affecting its pitch. You can also skip around to different parts of the recording.

  3. Volume Control

    You can adjust the volume by using your mouse scrollwheel when the mouse pointer is above this control.

  4. Ellapsed Time Display

    Shows the ellapsed time of playback in HH:MM:SS.s format.

  5. Folders

    Double click a folder to rename it. Drag them around to sort them to your liking. Press the delete key on the keyboard to delete the selected folder. Drag a note to the folder to move it there.

  6. Folder Controls

    Add a new folder, or modify existing ones.

  7. Notes

    Double click a note to play it. Single click a selected note's name to rename it. Press the delete key on the keyboard to delete the selected notes. Search for the right note by typing in part of the name in the toolbar's search field.
